Hanlees Napa Subaru Volkswagen

I only write reviews when service is extraordinarily poor or fantastic and the service department at Hanlees was over the top! The story: My girlfriend and I headed down to Sonoma to help celebrate her little sister celebrate going away to college, on the way down my 2008 Subaru Outback had a major engine failure. Upon arriving at our destination we saw smoke rising from under the hood! We jumped out and waited until it cooled down before I took a look at the issue... Oil was covering the entire underside of my car and it seemed to be a major oil leak from somewhere above the filter... not good! So, I called the nearest dealer and had my car towed in to Hanlees in Napa. From the moment I walked in to the dealership and talked with Terri I knew I had come to the right place. I dropped off my keys and waited for a call the next morning from the service department. Fae gave me a call first thing the next morning and gave me the low-down. She is an amazing communicator and a multi-tasking master. She took my call, gathered the necessary information, and got back to me with updates on my claim within 30-minutes. When I arrived at the service center Don: a master mechanic, local to Napa, and a very nice man, talked me through the situation. Then Burt, the Service Manager, took over and helped me get in touch with my dealer in Chico. Burt and his team impressed me with there professionalism, efficiency, and customer service. Burt was able to get my car covered by the shop that had done the engine work, get me a rental car, and give me a walk-through of work that needed to be done within a couple hours. I HIGHLY recommend taking any car to this service shop. I felt comfortable and quickly gained trust in every employee I dealt with at Hanlees. If you are looking to buy a car, get a tune-up, or if your car almost lights on fire and needs to have a problem diagnosed - take it Hanlees and talk to Burt. Thanks Burt, Fae and Don! You made a stressful Sunday feel like a vacation at an auto dealership.
Sincerely, Lucas (8/12/14)
