He discussed what the Costco price would be. The car was not on their lot so Adam gave me date the car would be available. The car arrived as promised.

Buying a car is never an easy thing to do. After doing our research and surveying several dealerships, we came to Hanlees Napa Subaru and met our sales person Cherry. We were very impressed with how low pressure this experience was. Cherry was very knowledgeable with each of the vehicles we discussed and went with us on a test drive of a Subaru Outback. When we decided to buy the Outback, Cherry worked with us to come up with a price we could afford and allowed us to discuss our concerns with the Sales Manager and the Finance Manager. Again, there wasn't any high pressure pushing us to buy things we didn't want and the financial paperwork was explained in very plain detail. We will definitely recommend others to buy a car from Hanlees Napa Subaru.

Upon walking into Napa Subaru, I was greeted by a salesman named Fletch. From the start, he was very professional and courteous and made me feel at ease about the stress of car shopping. He immediately looked up the car I was interested in and brought it down for a test drive. After the test drive we sat down with Fletch and he gave us a price on the vehicle. When we felt it was a good deal, we when went inside to meet Mike, the finance manager. He explained all of the options for extended warranties. Not at any time did we ever feel pressured by either Fletch or Mike to purchase the vehicle. We hope your service is as good as your sales staff. Dear Reader:

I was quite pleased with my Hanlees Subaru of Napa experience and recommend them.

My seven year old car was incinerated by Napa's Atlas Peak fire and I reluctantly had to purchase a new one. I was not looking forward to the process having in the past had rather poor car dealer experiences.

I was therefore very pleasantly surprised by Hanlees Subaru.
Seeking a low mileage Subaru Outback on the internet, I was contacted by Hanlees who had the model - with low mileage - that i sought.

I entered the showroom with some trepidation but found the Hanlees salesman to be courteous, capable and quite knowledgeable.
Moreover, he was not aggressive and did not press.

The Hanlees financing experience was the same. Indeed, the finance manager had researched various interest rates and presented me with a selection of financing choices from which to choose. We even compared Kelly Blue Book pricing. Again, no pressure. 

I am pleased to be able to recommend Hanlees Subaru..

If you are looking for a Subaru, you have to go to Cherry Cubangbang at Hanlees Napa Subaru! I went first to the Roseville Auto Mall, then to Maita Subaru in Sacramento and was given the runaround. Cherry was so helpful right from the beginning. I ended up ordering a car from her. She gave me frequent updates and answered all of my questions. I got the best price through Cherry too. Don't waste your time going anywhere else - She is the best!!!

I chose Napa Hanlees Subaru Volkswagen to service my Subaru Outback after a bad experience with Fairfield Subaru. My service advisor, Jeff Webb, has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my service experience was nothing less than exceptional.  

Jeff is professional, knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy and personable.  His integrity is impeccable.  When I first met him he was well-mannered who knows how to treat people.  Now days it's hard to find someone with that kind of integrity who cares about his customers.  Mr. Webb is a fine example of how service should be provided.  We didn't want this to go unrecognized.

Our family has purchased 4 VW's in the past 4 1/2 years from Hanlees from Jetta's, to a GTI & my CC. Decided it was time to move into an SUV and returned to Hanlees Napa VW/Subaru...because they had been so wonderful so work with previously. Ended up purchasing a 2017 Subaru Outback 3.6r Touring from Adam! He was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and straight dealing. No dickering or "salesy" tactics at all. Very collaborative & positive experience! Mike the Finance Manager was also amazing...again very positive, explanatory and collaborative. No games...just a straight dealing honest sales team. Hanlees Subaru in Napa is the Best! We bought our first Subaru Forester in 1998 from Jenson's. It's still running! on it's third engine, my husband does that himself. So when we decided to buy another Forester we went back to the same place. Now Hanlees but the service is still great. Mike G. got us the lowest possible rate and took the time to do it. Trey was fun, helpful and got us the Forester of my dreams. Cars have come a long way since 1998. Glad to say I'll go back to Hanlees when it's time for the next Subaru.

At Napa Subaru/VW I have been dealing with a gentleman named FLETCH. He is a new addition to the sales department and an EXPERT in VW, in that he knows how and why things work; he understands the differences in the models by year, where one would be a better fit to your needs; and why. His technical VW knowledge is unsurpassed!

I have been talking with him regarding a buyback and re-buy of a Golf Diesel that will be bought back and then I liked the car so much (2011 Golf TDI that I bought new and now has 165,000 mi. on it) that I'm planning on buying one of the "emissions modified" as they slowly come onto the market, since I can't buy a new one.

Fletch has educated me and I appreciate that so much. He is a knowledgeable nice man who will help you find the VW that your looking for new or used. Give him your business!

I stopped to check on a particular exterior color before making a purchase of a new Subaru Forester in Fairfield, only to discover the best sales team ever, right in my own backyard, in Napa, CA! Great experience at Hanlees Napa! I walked on the floor at the Hanlees Subaru VW dealership and was greeted (not solicited) by Eric. Right away, I sensed a difference from my other car buying experiences - he wasn't selling, instead he was asking me open ended questions and actively listening to my answers; our conversation was about my automotive needs but it was also a real conversation. As we walked around the lot looking at cars he listened to my comments and within 2 cars we were test driving the car I knew I would be buying. At this point I'm thinking - definitely a 4 star experience. Here's how they earned that 5th star.

I was also turning in my leased VW and concerned about how the VW settlement (diesel emissions law suit) payment would work. Eric clearly explained the 2 processes - lease termination & settlement payment and what my best path forward should be. We then drove to the Hanlees Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram up the road where he introduced me to Max and Miguel to complete the paperwork/financing. Max and Miguel were the icing - funny, cheerful, and most importantly knowledgeable about their profession. This is usually the part of the process where time sloooooows and you feel stuck in Dante's 8th ring with tar-sand coffee and muzak. Nope. Max offered me his Monster drink (thanks Max!) and Miguel entertained me with stories of the crazy world of auto finance (aka movie Fargo Lundegaard's).

As I drove away in my Subaru, I realized how different this experience had been from the many previous car buying experiences I've had (1st car purchased was a Jeep CJ7 in 1984). I'm just an average guy in his 50s who walked on the showroom floor in overalls, work boots and a hoodie yet was treated with professionalism and respect not hustled, pressured or ignored.

The really cool part - Eric is the General Manager and he & his team genuinely understand how to take care of their customers. I'm a customer for life.

I did extensive research before deciding to purchase a Subaru Forester.  I  was in contact with several dealerships before coming to Hanlees.  Prior to my visit, I set up an appointment with Caitlin in the sales department. Upon my arrival, Caitlin was prepared and ready to assist me.  She explained the different models, and found the exact cars that fit my needs.  Caitlin had a thorough understanding of the vehicle's features and clearly explained how they worked.  It was obvious she took time to familiarize herself with the Subaru product. 
Upon choosing a vehicle, the negotiation was painless and I feel I received a great deal.  There was no pressure to buy any service packages.  They were explained in detail, but the conversation ended with a simple yes or no.  Once the paperwork was complete, we returned to the vehicle and she took time to explain the features and answer all my questions. From start to finish it was a pleasant and no pressure experience.  The drive to Napa may be worthwhile if your looking for a hassle free buying experience.  Be sure to ask for Caitlin.
