Go here. Talk to Oscar Dryden. Get the best price on a VW that exists in the Bay Area. They will work insanely hard to get and keep your business. It's a car dealership. You go in person, not online. You speak to someone, like Oscar for instance, and they make you comfortable with the product and the place. You ask for the best deal and this place just offers it instead of making you jump through hoops and if you don't close the deal for whatever reason they treat you like a human who has to make decisions that are best for you.
